Dr Faiz Ali is a Consultant Gastroenterologist & Clinical Lead for Endoscopy for Hywel Dda University Health Board. He is also the Lead Screening Colonoscopist for Bowel Screening Wales programme for the Health Board.
His work involves covering the 4 main hospitals in Hywel Dda but he also does additional Bowel Screening Colonoscopies for Health Boards in Swansea and Cardiff. His interest is in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He is responsible for ensuring Quality and Safety within the Endoscopy departments in Hywel Dda and carrying out key performance audits on all the endoscopsits.
